The ‘Why’ Behind RELFFITS

This site is my personal tribute to all the screw-ups, setbacks, and small wins that shaped my health. It’s also where I stash the resources, lessons, and experiments that actually helped me move forward.

Why should you care? Honestly, you don’t have to. But if you’ve ever felt stuck, frustrated, or like your health is slipping through your fingers, maybe my story can shortcut some of the mistakes I’ve made.

I’ve been overweight for years, lived with symptoms of body dysmorphia, tracked every single calorie until it drove me nuts, chased TikTok diet trends, pushed through goofy HIIT workouts, and even ran a half marathon just to prove I could. I’ve also blown my back out, spent months trying to rebuild it, and learned the hard way that strength and longevity matter more than quick fixes.

Now I’ve come full circle — I’m a runner who lifts consistently, not to punish myself but to build something I can carry for life. To say it lightly, I’m obsessed with health. But that obsession cost me years of wasted time. My hope here is to save you some of that, and maybe help you figure out what’s worth being obsessed with — in a way that actually supports your life instead of drains it.

And just so it’s clear: I’m not a doctor. I don’t have all the answers. What’s worked for me might not work for you. Take it all with a grain of salt, and keep the pieces that feel like gold.
